The company’s global success is attributed to its strategic product development in which designer antigens, as well as patented and licensed technologies, play an important role. EUROIMMUN is consistently expanding its product offerings with new assays to aid in the detection of antibodies associated with autoimmune and infectious diseases.
Custom Booklet and Scientific Poster
The Scientific Affairs department at EuroImmun tasked us to create a ‘Guide to Antinuclear Antibody Testing by Indirect Immunofluorescence’ that would be used by lab personnel. The fully custom booklet would need to be able to withstand the lab environment (meaning it could get wet, withstand heavy use and be carried in a lab coat pocket). It would hold 2 business cards as well as a custom sized poster folded and inserted into a back pocket. Also required were custom tabs and a few fold-out pages throughout the booklet.
We were also asked to create design concepts for newly branded marketing collateral brochures. The current pieces were older and the director of marketing wanted to redesign them to better fit their demographics.
Custom Booklet and Scientific Poster
We created a custom booklet that fit perfectly into a lab coat pocket. It was wire-o bound to easily lay open on a lab table for the technician to be able to view, and the paper was laminated to protect it from any liquid. Also included is a poster that is folded to fit in the back pocket of the booklet with an overview of the entire booklet. The booklet has been very well received by everyone and we hope to create more like it in the future.
For this project we created custom illustrated icons for each of the 6 core capabilities. We incorporated these into newly branded brochures with a fresh look and updated color palette.
EUROIMMUN US would like to write this testimonial for a very fruitful and enjoyable experience working with VN Creative, to create our “Laboratory Guide for ANA Testing”. I was tasked with reaching out to a graphic designer who could take our Scientific team’s ideas and inputs and develop them into a Customer Guide that could be shared with our customers and the scientific community, at large, working in the field of Rheumatology.
During our first meeting with Vicki, we detailed our vision and ideas for this booklet and provided her with the necessary content and graphics. We exchanged ideas around our preferences for the material to be produced with the aim of making the booklet visually appealing to our customers. Vicki ensured us that she received all the content and ideas and made us feel at ease from the very beginning. Within a matter of days, she took our content and came up with a draft for the booklet. She was quick, thorough and very detail-oriented and had absorbed our rough ideas and turned it into a draft that was visually appealing and fulfilled all our needs to be scientifically relevant.
Along the way, she provided us with suggestions on colors, paper material among others, that we could go with. Thereafter, we did a couple of minor design modifications, that Vicki so graciously accommodated even up to the last minute. She was prompt with her responses and respected our timelines. Within weeks of our initial meeting we were ready to print. The final product said it all; it was exactly what we had asked for, in terms of content, design, quality, pricing, etc.
Vicki made the entire process seem so effortless and delivered a product that was well appreciated by my team and our customers. Without hesitation, I would recommend Vicki and her team for design projects.
