THE CHALLENGE

Poplar Healthcare, originally known as GI Pathology, began its journey as a single laboratory in 2006. Over the years, they expanded to include four additional labs: D-PATH, OncoMetrix, Bostwick, and Women’s Healthcare. To establish a cohesive yet distinct identity for each lab and the parent company, Poplar Healthcare sought comprehensive branding and marketing support.

Poplar Healthcare faced the challenge of creating unique but similar brands for its expanding portfolio of laboratories. Each lab needed a distinct identity while maintaining a connection to the parent brand. This required the development of logos, marketing materials, trade show booths, and annual meeting materials. Additionally, supporting the websites of all five labs presented a significant challenge in terms of design consistency and functionality.

THE SOLUTION

To address these challenges, I provided a range of services to ensure a cohesive brand identity for Poplar Healthcare and its labs:

Logo Development

  • Created unique logos for GI Pathology, D-PATH, OncoMetrix, Bostwick, Women’s Healthcare, and the parent company, Poplar Healthcare.
  • Ensured each logo had a distinctive look while maintaining a visual connection to the parent brand.

Marketing Materials

  • Designed comprehensive marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, and promotional items for each lab.
  • Developed a consistent visual style that reflected the unique identity of each lab while aligning with the overarching Poplar Healthcare brand.

Trade Show Booths

  • Created visually appealing and informative trade show booths for each lab.
  • Ensured the booths effectively communicated the unique value propositions of each lab while maintaining a cohesive brand presence.

Annual Meeting Materials

  • Designed and produced materials for annual meetings, including presentations, banners, and handouts.
  • Ensured all materials were aligned with the brand identity of each lab and the parent company.

Website Support

  • Provided design and functionality support for the websites of all five labs.
  • Ensured consistency in design elements and user experience across all websites.
